Everything is now sanded, what fun, particularly the louvers on the engine lid. Now that it is done I've decided to respray another coat of primer sealer to make it all the same color. I'm afraid it might look blotchy through the color coat due to two different color primers. Naturally that means I'll have to sand it all over again. Hope I live long enough to finish this little car because I would like to also finish my Rampside pickup truck that has been a work in progress since 1995.

As mentioned, I did get a chance to do some more work on the Bianchina before one of those Corvair guys interrupted me. The front of the car and the right front fender are done. Coming down the home stretch now.
If you find these pictures boring, wait until I show the pictures of the paint drying. GGGG

I had a chance to do some more sanding yesterday. Finished the top and did the whole left side plus the dash. I plan to get some more sanding in today if all goes well.

The last day or two has been very exciting, I've been wet sanding the car. The excitement is mounting and I don't know if I can contain myself. NOT!!! Did I mention I HATE sanding? Oh, Okay, I hate sanding. Took two days to get started but couldn't put it off anymore. I hate sanding. The top is half done and both doors are done. I hate sanding. In the pictures, the orange is a guide coat I was using to judge the flatness and to show up any flaws. I don't think I will use a guide coat from now on, I can see and feel the difference. I hate sanding. I'll finish the top next and then move on to the rest of the body. I hate sanding. BUT, I am making progress.

Oh, I hate sanding.
